• Installing, maintaining, calibrating, and repairing industrial instrumentation and control systems
• Troubleshooting faults in sensors, transmitters, PLCs, control valves, and automated process equipment
• Performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of plant instrumentation
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical and instrumentation faults to minimize production downtime
• Reading and interpreting electrical, instrumentation, and control system drawings and schematics
• Assisting with commissioning, testing, and upgrading of plant equipment and automation systems
• Maintaining accurate maintenance, calibration, and service records
• Ensuring all instrumentation work complies with company safety standards and statutory regulations
• Working closely with production and maintenance teams to improve plant reliability and efficiency
• Participating in planned shutdowns and emergency maintenance activities as required
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience as an Instrumentation Technician in a manufacturing, processing, or industrial environment
• Experience with calibration, fault finding, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and technical manuals
• Good understanding of workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including breakdown call-outs and planned maintenance shutdowns when required
• Diploma or Trade Certificate in Instrumentation, Electrical & Instrumentation, Industrial Electronics, or a related technical field
