• Preparing accurate and detailed architectural drawings, plans and designs using CAD software
• Developing technical drawings from architectural designs, measurements and project requirements
• Working closely with the PPSD Project Builder, architects, engineers, surveyors and other stakeholders
• Producing 2D drawings, 3D models and detailed architectural documentation
• Ensuring drawings comply with applicable building codes, safety regulations and relevant PNG legislation
• Supporting project planning, design development and documentation
• Maintaining accurate drawing records and revisions
• Meeting project deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an architectural drafting role
• Minimum 1 year’s experience using CAD design software
• Intermediate to proficient skills in AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Beginner to intermediate skills in Revit Architecture
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong technical drawing, blueprint reading and 3D modelling skills
• Knowledge of architectural principles, CAD/digital design and relevant PNG building and planning regulations
• Strong communication, teamwork, numeracy and computer skills
• Self-motivated, organized and able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality
• High level of integrity, reliability and commitment to the goals and vision of the company.
• Minimum Diploma in Architectural Drafting or higher from a nationally recognized institution
• Membership with the PNG Institute of Architects
