• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy and light vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Repair engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering systems, and suspension components.
• Maintain service records and report on vehicle conditions.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
• Assist in maintaining workshop cleanliness and organization.
• Trade Certificate in Automotive/Heavy Equipment Mechanics or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working with heavy and light vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of diesel and petrol engines.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Must be based in Lae or willing to relocate at own cost.
